Artists Are Like Apple Trees

Apple trees produce apples, but they have no use for their own products.  However, if they stop producing their fruit, the tree wil die because there is no reason for the nourishment of the soil to go up the trunk and past the leaves if there is no fruit at the end of the branches.  The tree produces its fruit to keep itself aive!

Creative people are the same way.  "Use it or lose it" is the name of the game, but the good news is that the more we use our talents, the more talents we will have.  Nothing in the physical world works that way.  Physical things wear out with use but imagination and talent grow stronger.

Investing in your talent is the best investment you can make!
